  14. Thanks mate , would have preferred someone else going maybe 1/2 hr before us , our guys were told me it was overcast but it was very high cloud but it was def not dull and overcast as some are saying ,think the others had the luxury of waiting but with us being the furthest and flying to the west with the rain coming in ,we couldn't sit . Ps birds not clearing at Newark isn't new all the guys that were there say it happens all the time .WHY no one knows . Then u get a guy that says he's 15 miles north of Newark says it was ,his words , PERFECT at about 09.45 , so we go at 9.00 they take 11/15 mins to clear , say 20/25 mins to fly 15 miles ????? What time is that anywhere between 9.30 ~ 9.45 .so there was nothing wrong with the weather end of , it's not rocket science . Ok maybe it is .

  18. I'll fkn patience Peter , less o that off you please . To all the keyboard race controllers , theres bad weather coming into the west of Scotland this afternoon , oh and guess what our birds are racing home here , not to gods country in the east , east of Scotland (rpra went at 6.30 ) didn't clear for around 15/20 mins , yes full cloud cover ,but high and light with very good visibility , everyone at Newark were waiting on who was going to blink first , unfortunately we couldn't wait much longer with the rain forecast , the convoyers thought it was ok to go so we went , took them maybe 10/15 mins for them all to clear . Oh and pentlandi were going before that but for the escape ??????????? Oh no one mentioned that oh sh it . Good luck to all , oh and get your hands up for the job next year . Any replies can be made through my mobile number 07757252996 if you dare
  19. Yes that should do , my advise is pair them up , wait till their or other youngsters are out and in then you have something for them to follow to loft when trying to break .best time IMHO to try breaking is on big youngsters , because if there too small the one parent prob won't feed them properly .
  20. It's kind of like snfc or snrpc having fed birds in transporter you could have first bird home in fed / transporter but not win the national .hope that clears that up .
  21. That's what I was told years ago ,don't pull them out with tweezers ,either use the right tool or dab them with parafin . I've only had one on my old German Shepard ,just above her eye .
