albear you have hit the nail on th head , if you keep your birds in an aviary they don't come into contact with outside disease sources ,ie, sparrows and other birds,any mice running around at night pi$$ing on the ground sh!tting as well, a lot of factors which no matter how clean your loft is and what you give them ,they can pick up just about anything so if it happens during the race season what do you do, stop for the season? or do you try and FIX the problem? i know what i would do .

ian youyr totally wrong mate most of these are not as you say antibiotics , the come into the cattegory of antimicrobial's and these groups of treatments are protozoicide's ,NOT antibiotics (amoxycillin,ampicillin,chloramphenicol,erythromycin,gentomycin,lincomycin,neomycin,penicillin,quinolone,spectinomycin,spiramycin,streptomycin,tetracyclines,tiamulinand tylosin) these are antbiotics .I have a book as well mate so you can stop with the know it all thing mr vet

i think its a great product,but echinecea well the right stuff is from th root of the plant echinecea puepura (spelling?) the right name for it. and it will only have a very small amount in a litre bottle or it would cost a hole lot more , you can get it from holland&barrett made by bioforce and for a small bottle(25ml) its about £6.00?

were's the swab sample for canker it only say's dropping samples?

well i just went out to the loft qas i an unopened bottle it say's concentrated GREENS and plant extract not once does it say echineacea.

where on the bottle does it say this

old yellow i have used av/ult and still use cidar vinigar, naturaline is just an iron tonic/greens, but when i have used av/ult i have had the birds getting yeast in the crop ,but when i stopped using it, the yeast stopped as well.

absolutely spot frank, anyone who uses any drug ie, for cocci,worms,canker, respitory, bacteria,is only clearing the disease thus allowing the bird to perform,not enhancing the bird ,enhancement drugs would be like humans taking speed or the kind of stuff that cheating runners take , not an antibiotic,or a lemsip

i read a post about two loft locations, you should fly to the shortest one ,because if you had two measurements to two lofts what birds fly to what loft? :-/especially if it has two rings of different years is that right joe61 lol
