To be sure about grit while treating birds just don't give them any then you're sure,another thing to be carefull with is the use of Chicken Layers pellets these have a fairly high calcium content. Lindsay

I had intended to feed Bamfords Hi Protein Economy when breeding,one of the lads in another club uses it for breeding and racing,he take his fair share of red cards.I always used the Gerry + system but the price of their feed is stupid.My local corn supplier now sells Vanrobaeys,I've always liked it when I've seen it at Blackpool but it was never available in this area.The Breeding Mix is £ 11:75.for 27.5 kg .I think I'll go down that road and look for a lighter mix to race on.
