The Premiership is looking to have a dramatic end to it! A serious battle for the top few places hopefully right up to the wire. United are firmly back on the map now and City look to be in major decline. Shame Chelsea didn't lost today or that would have really made for an exciting end of season!

Got one back about 5.30pm with some tail feather damage. Another one just dropped in at 6.30pm. All home thank God.

Having a similar fate here. Had a team of 5 doo's training from 22 mile and had been there 4/5 times the last 2 weeks. Generally they get home 10-15 minutes after I do. Today libbed from the same place, good weather conditions, good visibility but after an hour I only had one bird home. One turned up 3 hours later and one 6 hours later. Still 2 doo's short. These birds were fit, flying well around home pre training and knew the route well. Bad times.

Hi Darren, Some people still have lofts in allotments but most people have them actually in their garden. The problem with allotments is it is open to vandalism or theft etc. Do you have room in your garden to put a loft up?

Who is using Taurus and how do you find it? Most of my club are on Benzing systems. But a Taurus has come up relatively cheap. But with me having no experience or never seen one in use I wanted to ask anybody who has to share their knowledge/experience with this system. Any info much appreciated. Cheers, Pete

Joe that is a good nag and capable. Anything can happen in this sort of race as you know but this one is certainly able (just wonder if he is willing) haha. If you bet today (ante post) you can get 50/1 on him at a company called, "Betway". Google that company pal. You also get a free bet to match your first bet. Ante post is nice cos you get the huge odds but if he dont run you dont get ya money back. But worth a punt for them odds in my book anyway pal.

Interesting subject. Something that will be on the cards for me in the next 5-6 years so curious as to how you get on. How long ago did you move? How long have they been broken as in flying around your new loft etc? Wish you the best of luck with it and hope you see them all later today once they have realized they have a new home!

Hi Archie, Yeah I'm looking for something to keep them safe when they are very young (flitting about etc) and not yet flying. Have heard so many different things, flashing lights, mirrors, fake eagles, fake owls, shiny reflective tape. Does anyone know of anything that definitely works?

Discs to hang with image of birds eyes on em... Seen some at a local fanciers house and reckons they work wonders. These were not the ball style, but in the shape of a disc (but about 12" in diameter). Does anyone know what these are called or where they can be bought? Cheers, Pete

Cheers Bill, them doo's off you have thrown some crackers. Cheers Joe. Still got a lot to learn mate but happy with how things are going just now. Am lucky to have good pals teaching me the doo game (Tony C & Wiley). First race in 2 weeks and very excited for first race day.

Welcome to the forum, great to have a member from so far away. I'm sure it it will be good to hear how things are done differently over there in comparison to in the United Kingdom. Please feel free to tell us about what sort of distances you race and what sort of temperatures your birds are flying in. I'm sure it will be an eye opener for the guys flying in our weather
