Well thats the line i was thinking on so will just go with ordinary Vaccine.

Columbovac PMV / POX combined vaccine ,is there any real benefit in using this as i dont usually worry about the latter just wondering thanks.

Ok so have i missed some thing here ,what have you decided upon ,whats the way forward to change things ,because after all the posts i certainly am non the wiser on how to solve the problem of the tremendous losses we suffer .

You could just stop printing year on rings problem solved LOL buy yer rings when you like, race young or old doos when you like within programe ofcourse,breed when you like ,hey ho everyone happy.

IMO the top guys ,officials, SHU representatives from feds etc sit down and think up away forward regards where we go from here for changes with regards to young bird racing ,then allow postal vote for club members to decide on recomendations put forward ,guidance must imo come from the top .I think its a hard one to solve thats if change is wanted .

The trouble is we all know losses are terrible but no one has the answer ,climate change ,darkness,over medication ,vaccination who knows the reason i dont ,what about banning darkness and dont issue rings until 1st of march .

That would be imo important ,I think if you get it you get it nothing to prevent it ( cross fingers i had it once ) cleaned out section ,withdrew feed for 48 hrs ,put potasium permanganate in drinking water ,disposed of a couple ,and then weaned them back onto condtioner then ordinary feed ,i would say it took 3 weeks to be flying properly again .

Is there such a thing as preventive ,after being treated maybe some thing in water to save cross contamination would be important IMO

Ok Wiley,so are you advocating a racing mixture thats high in fats to make up the 3/4 top up or is it a certain seed and if so what seeds contain lots of fats ,if it is peanuts they are rather expensive are there other options,cheers

Its such a simple thing !! but doesn't it give you a fine lift tae look out the kitchen window and see a bird needin in even though it should have been home weeks ago ,i myself have had 2 return.

Kyleakin , I absolutely agree no one should be refused ,if refusal has to do with boundaries ,sections etc extend boundary,and as for sections they are made so top flyers get mentioned on fed results each week even though they are not near topping the fed (false Kudos ),abolish it then regardless where they stayed they could choose there club.

Belted Galloways there is a fine herd of these up the Kieth Mulben way look great .
