  1. thanks.aye hopefully.lol
  2. whats your brothers name George and which position?
  3. think real.sons got 50 on them so hope so
  4. thats the kind of thing they would do owen,no threat to a racing pigeon.
  5. would take it that it was not fully fledged bobby4.they're not near quick or agile enough
  6. the doos will cock a look at buzzards but there is nothing to fear of them, they feed on carrion and like other bop they are adapting their hunting methods as there are so many of them now but they are adapting to be more like crows and gulls, scavenging and walking in fields looking for insects, worms etc.some would have a go at young rabbits though but i would be very surprised if one ever took a pigeon.

  8. but when youre the biggest fed in scotland Andy,do you really think joint convoying means we will go with you or do you want to come with us?all feds being mentioned setting a suitable programme for them, and then officials meeting to go through them and coming up with a suitable programme for all going down the west side but some are quite happy staying east.
  9. Ditto
  10. i would race west everytime Andy, joint liberation from appleby onwards which can be a 3 to 4 hour race or more for ayrshire, then joint convoying from uttoxeter onwards or when birdage dictated,,is there movement in lanarkshire programme or is that it?
  11. think the vibe from the posts Andy is,this is our programme,if you set your programme with some of the same racepoints give us a shout and we will discuss joint convoying,if you choose a different programme,go on your own.don't see where the come and go is going to come in?
  12. Billy can only speak for myself, but none of mine died, some showed no symtoms whatsoever.i noticed it monday afternoon, the week of the first race.i had them training at cumnock that morning and they beat me home.i always check the doos in the basket before release and noticed some droppings colour of mushy peas.as the day went on the doos looked as if they had been to a hard race.i fed them as normal that evening and as the night went on some birds were being sick(y/birds).in the morning the birds had been sick through the night and some some still doing it as i was in the loft.droppings were dark green and slimey and some wet, some both.did hear from others though that some of theirs had died on them.
  13. won't touch them delboy, mainly eat carrion, don't know if the doos will know that but?
  14. brave decision to send it out again.glad its back for yous.

  20. l.o.l.
  21. clever guy.interesting stuff.maybe one day there will be an app to view our pigeons coming home in real time with one bird designated for every fed to be fitted with the gear,or each fed having a purpose built loft for this.sounds daft but so did men on the moon.
  22. Heaven.The late Jock Traill.
  23. think bop do more damage than the baskets.
  24. its not Kenny Youngs job to basket train anyones pigeons for them.the convoyers should be sticking their chest out, they do a grand job imo.
  25. would'nt be surprised Baz,the guys that are sending are all capable.
