thanks for all your input, it was actually a chipping egg i moved to the friday pair as one of saturdays had hatched. this morning when i found the squab under the foster mum it was dead but it looked the same size as the one that was alive regards and thanks . so what else do you think? lc

hi i had a pair on dummy eggs thay were due to hatch on friday. on saturday another pair hatched i took one squab away and put it under the first pair . this morning i looked under the pair and the squab was dead any idea what went wrong lc

no one can take away the fact this a great performance, but how many fanciers will look at it as ott by this person and then move to another club or fed because of it. its a fact a man with pots of money and unlimited time on his hands will beat a back garden fancier with a full time job nine out of ten times .also how many pigeons did this fancier send 100 per chance even 200 give me a break this is were pigeon racing falls down -unlimited entries- it makes for a very uneven playing field what other sport{hobby for me } lets one person send 40 whilst another sends 4 answers on a postcard please lc [

back in 94 i bred a roller x racer i sent him to a 61mile race and got him back a week later . he was bred by accident as i had a spare hen that a stray roller paird up with, i ended up advertising the roller free to a good home in the pigeon sport and he ended up in leeds . he was quite a good roller but a bit of a casanova as well. lc

hi would 0-200ml be considered sprint 200-400ml middle distance and 400ml+ long distance what do you guys think or would 0-150ml be considered sprint ,150-300ml middle distance and 300+long distance regards lc

the hen and cock have paird with each other its just that the blooming gits have not took a box i have tried locking them in the same box for 3 hours each day but the next day the hens not interested , i love pigeons but thay drive me mad sometimes

hi there i need advice hows the best way to settle a pair to a box. i have 14 birds 8 young birds 4 established oldbirds the pair i am trying to settle are paird together but the hen does not seem to want a box . i have opened all 12 boxes to let them all choose boxes but my 4 established birds want all the boxes . so any suggestions would be helpfull i have them in a 16x6 loft and thay have the freedom of it. the thing that annoys me is with all the room you would think thay would be content

thanks for the info the pigeon i lost was a belg hen i got at blackpool from peter kos . its already bred a 1st , but i think that the hen maybe had never been out its entire life , as i had it in for 8 month and when it went out it flew on to a garage and then a house roof and got further away and wouldnt look at my birds or my loft at all the last time i seen it was sunday night . so it must be dead as i had a telephone ring on its leg and you would think that if it went into another place the fancier would phone you lc
