hi there in monday night i tried to break a cock i got at blackpool from a dutch stall in the horseshoe. i let him out and off he went, the next morning i spotted him across the road on a bridge and thought good then he vanished, soon after i seen him across the road on a roof. since then i have not seen him the weather has been rotten my freind had put my birds out to try and pull him down on monday as i was working all day but to no avail. i feel realy rotten and quite down at losing this bird as he was class. i never paid much for him only £15 so its not the waste of money iam lamenting its just losing him, does anyone think i will see him again as i had a address ring on him. lc

hi pigeon fans i need help and advice ive started feeding my kids 1/4 of an ounce all rounder am and one ounce pm all rounder is this enough for them. thay are not flying so good but to be fair thay have been out with the old pigeons up until now thanks lc

west of scotland best pigeon racers morris brothers. willie glass, alex scott ,mr mckinley of largs and harvey pollock. best fancier well in my opinion theres no bad fanciers or very few nowadays so i think 99 percent of the fancy are good fanciers , but bear in mind theres no such thing as a even ball park in pigeon racing and you have to use the hand your dealt. lc 5

hi there i went into my small loft today [ only one pair in it] and found there 7 day old baby dead .thay have already reared six this season and i am stumped. lc

mark step back and take it easy pigeons are only a hobby , give youself some time and then if you still feel like the way you feel in a month from now then maybe a break from the birds is what you need . but remember pigeons are supposed to be a relaxation and thats what thay should be, but to some there just an extension to there ego and thats sad . because whats the use of winning ten firsts a year and nearly going bonkers or falling out with your family or having a hart attack because of a pigeon that wont trap so in closing TAKE IT EASY lc

hi there i remember getting 4 of these pigeons back in 84 from a man in essex, thay had tiny beaks and white heads iam sure the name of them was english long faced bald tumblers can anyone help me with this maybe a picture or tell me if thats the right name thanks lc

i no a cross between a racer and a tumbler is called a rumbler.and a spanish thief pouter crossed with a horseman thief pouter is a double cross ha ha ha

i would say twenty is plenty , i multiply the lenth by the breadth and then divide by 4 but this aint gospel but iam sure better fanciers than me could tell you better lc

matt white of paisley scotland won the scottish national rennes with scotch king this pigeon was also 3rd national. he was bred from a brother sister mating by mistake, matt and his dad got two grizzles from another fancier and paird them together thay did not no that thay were siblings until after scotch kings national performances , i think scotch king was in the top 10 three times from rennes lc

what would you guys define as a small loft set up ie 12x6 two sections and does any one still race to small lofts with small teams i myself have a 16x8 loft with 2 sections lc

hello there i train my birds 4-6 times before the first race after that i can only get them out on sun/mon and wednesday at night and cannot train them is this ok, as some fanciers say if you keep them racing thay should be ok lc
