Some of my birds seem to have quill mite or bullheads as ive been told they are called . Ive wormed them with moxidectin a week ago and put virkon s in the bath but they are still there . Any ideas how to get rid of them?

There is a heating panel system available in ireland from Autoloft , It is as good if not better than ATX and also not as expensive it is now being used by top lofts across ireland & the uk There is an ad in next weeks RP about the system feel free to pm me for any more info ...

see that he has birds entered in the south african 1 loft race ... think i heard before that his daughter also races ?

try get an experienced fancier to go to your loft and have a look at the birds , they may see something that you may not have noticed . its not easy getting started and at times its hard to know if you are doing the right thing , hope you get your problem sorted atb anto

Most of my birds seem to have scales on there breast , The flesh is also slightly darker than other birds ive seen that are in top condition . Is there anything that can be done to help with this ? Thanks Anto

Been reading that some well known fanciers on the continent feed the same mix all week , do you think this would be better than breaking down / building up for sprint racing up to 200 miles ?

ours were libbed last Saturday , weather was terrible I sent 6 got 2 on the day and 1 next morning . the losses most lads have taken there seasons are finished , birds being reported all over Ireland and some in the uk . pigeons hadn't got a hope ....

i wont be racing either way after the disaster we had last week , giving them a rest see what there like for the following week
