  13. worth a try and it will do them no harm hope thats all it is and your back up and running i conected mine up last week to check all was working ok and broke a pin on one of the cables but its still working ok so take it all the pins are not being used lucky but ill get another anyway just in case
  14. another problem with unikon clocks is the amount of birds on the clock the more thats on it the longer it takes to scan looking for the ring so get the birds you have lost or not racing taken off and you will see the difference in speed as the birds go over the pad
  15. forgot to ask you have the pads been out side all winter as i had a problem 2 years ago one pad not working it had been in the loft all winter brought it in the house and sat it on the radiator for a few hours and it worked now i bring the pads into the house when season is done must be dampness getting inside them worth a try redcheq
  16. lol not any more joe im weeding them out m8 when you talk to neighbours here you just take your pick shaft with you but im lucky i have good neighbours around me now its half the battle
  17. suppose that depends on the neighbours pete and what your blocking i had to take a loft down because a neighbour went to the council and said the loft was blocking her view the only view the *expletive removed* had was into my sisters back window but they still made me take it down if your on good terms with the neighbours go and ask them if will cause a problem first if they say its ok take a wee box of chocs round to the lady of the house as a wee thankyou works wonders and keeps them sweet
  18. sounds like the cable between pad one and two id just have on the one thats working and if a bird from other section comes first catch it and put it on to pad one till your hubby finds out whats wrong
  19. brightening up here now time to basket the birds for training
  20. an inbred bird is a bird bred from say father and daughter half brother to half sister grandsire to granddaughter so inbred back to the best pigeons in the family is best i can explain it to you thus retaining lots of the best winning gennes from that family louella breed there birds this way and the jan aarden family would be a good cross for you i think hope this helps you
  21. the higher off the ground the better pete stops vermin going under to nest they like it low so its dark id make it over two foot high then you have some where to store baskets also keeps your traps high so cats have trouble jumping up to them good luck with it m8
  22. then an inbred distance familly is what your after bluepied
  23. tell the police whats going on get them involved now they can go speak them before friday basketing
  24. any good winning family depending on what distance you are interested in id go for an inbred family with winning genes all through the pedigree
