  3. Crystal ball says 5.30 lib into light N wind, cross channel at Le Havre (80 miles) reach landfall at Eastbourne after west wind in channel at 9.30. Wind across the birds all the way. Should be over Leicester/Peterborough at 12.30. Birds in Gretna at 17.45 winners into Ayton at 18.20 or Macmerry 19.00. Should be able to plan your Sunday tea now. Good luck to all.   11. Found on 5/6/13 3pm freshly killed at Torness power station by a neighbour of mine who would like the owner to know it's demise. I know it's a Grimsby bird but may well have been sold or transferred.

I had a brain haemorrhage at the pigeon club at 6.15 last Friday and was lucky enough to be operated on Saturday morning with the specialist team that were on call for central Scotland and escaping without any paralysis. I look forward to seeing and handling the birds but my wife has me nailed. My health comes first whilst I still remain at risk. Thanks for your concerns. Tom

  20. There were 44 birds auctioned which gave £1400 to share between the two clubs. £125 was the highest bid with other birds going for £70 and £80. A big thanks to all who supported this event and those who bought on the night.
