  5. It was cloud and light rain 2 miles from Arniston from 8.30 when I went for the paper and when our birds came home at 10.40am it was pshing but cleared by 11.15am. I was surprised our birds were up at Otterburn let alone those that liberated from Arniston, Stobbs camp, Dunbar etc.
  6. In tonight. Looks as if it's been fielding a while. Still has it's rubber on.
  7. 7/7 with Midlothian 1 hour 25 from otterburn. All in by 2 hours. PHEW!!
  8. Where about on the web site is the training results? I see it now - you have to refresh the page.
  9. Just looked at the satellite image and it's clear to the border. Best of luck, it would be a great way to end your excellent season
  10. Don't know what it's like in Elphinstone but it's black and chucking it down in Bonnyrigg. Hope your basking in sunshine Jamie.
  11. Just in tonight before the skies opened. Bonnyrigg 7 miles South of Edinburgh.
  12. Yes there are a few. Henry Borthwick, a complete stranger, did a 40 mile round trip from Winchburgh to deliver a lost YB to me today. Thanks again mate.
  13. 07925728558
  14. What a gentleman. Henry Borthwick has just driven through from Winchburgh to hand in one of my youngsters. Thank you very much Henry and I look forward to doing you as big a favour some time in the future.
  15. Got my first from three today at 2.00 pm. 1 tail feather left and no primaries on one wing. And guess what I got another at 4.00 pm unscathed but well down in body.
  16. Here's hoping Paul. They all have telephone rings and I got a phone call from Henry Borthwick over in Winchburgh this morning to say he had one and there was another couple hanging about. As I said they were ranging well so have to presume they got shut out with the thunderplombs we had. Just hope for some more phone calls.
  17. 18/28 now Andy. There is dark chequer late bred with a 12ML ring on I would love to get to back.
  18. 13 so far Andy but not had any for the last hour. They will not need a bath though.
  19. My old man had a saying "if you don't like him give him a greyhound or a pair of pigeons" I think I'll pass on that offer Brian.
  20. 2 at 7.00 2 on the roof at 7.45 sun bathing hey ho only 24 to come.
  21. Let my young birds out at 7.00pm and they normally disappear for 45 to 60 mins. After 70 mins it got darker and darker, thunder and lightning at 8.20 and chucking it down. 9.45 now and not a single bird. Like a national race I will be up at B o'clock pacing the floor. Anyone got some spare goldfish.
  22. Well done Sinclair.
  23. You have to remove the unwanted 270 from the database, delete the pocket clock from the members personal information and then add the pocket clock to the member as if it was a new pocket clock. The best way to delete the 270 is to sort by ring number and shift/click batches of older birds then right/click and delete. When you get down to penny numbers change the colours of the ones you want to delete to something obscure like mosaic. When you have done this sort by colour and shift/click all the mosaics, right/click and delete. And the members think you have nothing else to do???
  24. Angus Simpson Lauder is climbing the ladder every race. Light NE wind with a cooling sea breeze should keep them heading for Lauder. Good luck Gus.
