  11. Walter, Connect up the system to the computer. I.E. base station and ring marker. Bring up the Unikon manager and click members, then RIGHT click on that members name. Click "Members clock" and when it comes up on the clock list, Right click and press "DELETE" to remove the clock. Next go to the + sign on the bottom right hand side and LEFT click. The "ADD CLOCK" box will come up, then make sure his Clock is in the base station and follow its instructions. It says clearing clock then it will download the data from his member file into the clock. Any problems, just PM me your contact No and I will take you through it. Hope this helps. Allan. P.S. A wee tip for anyone using UNIKON, make good use of the backup (even after each member or change)because if you run into bother, just load the last backup and start again.
  12. Hello and well done Willie, you and "BIG BRO" done Scotland proud. I just returned from Tenerife this morning where I spent a great day on Saturday with the "Doolanders" and fanciers from all over the world. The atmosphere was electric, especially as the ETA approached. The temperature showed 30c by afternoon and Hoody and Bosworth kept ours down by continually refilling the cups with DORADA. It was great to chat with the other fanciers, The Welsh and the UNC guys and even the ones that didn`t speak our language gave you a good smile and a warm handshake. The roar that went up when the winner was shown on the board was amazing. I was unable to attend the presentation on Sunday night as the wife had taken ill, but Smithy, Hoody and J Boz attended to represent Willie Donachie, Big Bro and Scotland. I can`t remember the names of all the fanciers (Worldwide) that asked about you and asked me to pass on their best wishes Wull. As a lot of the basic members have said, a great pigeon bred for the job. Seashore, Allan. :scotland:
  13. Sorry to hear that Willie, I was looking forward to meeting with you. I wish you the best of luck, It only takes one to win. :scotland: Allan
  14. Look forward to seeing you across there Willie, I fly out on Friday for the race. You`ll have Team Seashore and Team Doolanders cheering you on anyway. We wish you the very best of luck pal. :scotland: Allan
  15. Good on you pal, it only takes one to win it but I think there`s a few birds to come back yet. Team Seashore and The Doolanders will be across for the final to cheer your birds on. :scotland: Allan
  16. I was talking with Robert earlier tonight, telling him about a pals winner in the SNFC Maidstone that had been killed with the Hawk.We spoke of Freckles and how she was taken from the batch when flying round the loft. Robert got her back from the field where she went down, but she died later. I`m sure he won`t mind me saying this, but in the Gold cup race when with only a few birds on the night, Nan told me that Robert woke her next morning at the back of five to say he had just timed Freckles in (well pooled). Nan said "he was shaking like a leaf",it seems no matter how many times you time good doos in these races, the magic never leaves you. Robert Cormack is certainly a gentleman. I spoke with Sam at Blackpool two years ago, and he was back living in Sauchie. I think he is the councillor for that area.
  17. Don`t worry John I`ll be there early to get it cooking. A pig and a barrel of Dorada is little compensation for losing all our doo`s, but I won`t gie up on Wulldon or John Ross yet. Lets hope that tomorrow brings some Scottish birds home for us to cheer on in the final. :scotland: Allan.

  19. Willie, Seashore and Doolanders wish you and John Ross the very best of luck in tomorrows race. Keep the flag flying pal. :scotland: Allan
  20. A bit early for us (Scotland)but good luck in the race. Let us know how you get on. :scotland:
  21. I`ve had this happen twice in the last forty years, and only with Cocks. When a cock is showing up and his crop (airsac) inflates, there is a release valve that lets it deflate but sometimes the valve can stick leaving him inflated. a syringe with as big a bore needle as you can get is handy to have in the loft. Just dip the needle in Boiling water to sterilise and pierce the crop, then draw the air from it. It may be that you will have to do this a couple of times over a period of days till the valve starts working properly. Normally the once is enough. I`ve done the same for a few fanciers.A sewing needle also does the trick, then you would put light pressure on the crop to help deflate it. Allan
  22. All the best in the race tomorrow Wuldon and John Ross. Its left to you boys to fly the standard for SCOTLAND. :scotland: Allan
  23. A good toss today, Wuldon & Jock Ross all home for Scotland, Well done men. Just over 20 birds short, with most arriving in the first few minutes, long may it last. :scotland: Allan
  24. Good luck to Wuldon and Jock Ross tomorrow, and to every other fancier in the race. :emoticon-0123-party: Allan
