I fly in the Ayrshire fed and I would be keen on this idea makes more sense whay do all the transporters go down the road with 1000 birds on it when we can have a convoy with 4000 or 5000 birds saves fuel cost and wear and tear of all transporters JMO

Just had a listen the fella who goes on about animal rights really doesnt have a clue, i dont think that it will have a negitave effect on the sport maybe give it a bit more awareness

We had a young bird sale last year, about 40lots some very good breed pigeons from winning loft went for next to nothing we held the sale to help some of the older members with fed cost and fees to ensure, but I suppose its about getting the right crowd and I think as well that there are many clubs that time of the year running sales so drives the prices down, But saying that everybody always looking for a bargain

My grandfather use to be able to do it with young birds he had a opening in the hut that had a ledge at the other side he would place a large basket there with the flap coming inside the hut He would go in to the young bird end with a small cain and gently easy them in to the basket saving him all the hassle of chasing the young birds around the loft
