  1. GB 16 R 37427 found on neighbours window sill. No obvious injuries. Anybody claim??
  2. I promised myself I would batten down the hatches and .make no comments till this was well and truly over, if that ever happens. Make no mistake about this situation, we are in the throws of a serious situation. So what if we don't get any racing old or young birds. My only wish is that nobody I know becomes a statistic of the virus. It's great to get some positive figures, but we need to keep living within the guidelines and deal with "reality " when we get through this. Stay safe my friends, even my enemies LOL
  3. Happy BIRTHDAY Davey, hope you have a great day. Hope youngsters are ok.
  4. Sorry Roland, my figure of 20 thousand was for the UK only. AW THE BEST
  5. Nobody is more committed or competitive than me, when it comes to my beloved pigeons. This coronavirus is real and upwards of 20 thousand people WILL die from it. My concerns and energies are about not contracting the virus, not if we are going to race expletive remove. Keep safe out there. AW THE BEST.

Best of luck John. We've got 17 away
  11. Another one of the unsung heroes of the pigeon world. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Great to put a face to the name. Wee word of warning for anyone turning up without prior warning, BEWARE OF THE DOG LOL.
  12. WELL DONE Andrew and Papa.
  13. Change must come Derek, but when you've been a table thumper and tried to do things to help others all to no avail, you begin to . The fact that over 2000 have looked but penny numbers are prepared to comment says it all. AW THE BEST.
  14. Being one of the nearly 1850 viewers, thought I would put my tuppence in. Some of the changes we've tried for whatever reason. 1. Changed routes, west to east. Initially made a difference, but now as bad as ever, if we are blaming the BOP problems. 2. Changing the day we race. Do you really think they know what day it is. 3. Painting eyes on the tails of the birds. 4. Letting of rockets before liberation. Maybe its like ringing the dinner bell!!!. BOP are adaptable and need to eat, so starving them into submission will not work unless we keep all birds in for at least a full year period. I am convinced that 2 or 3 BOP will turn a whole convoy of birds or push them down or up the wrong valley never to be seen again. Undoubtedly BOP are a major problem for the pigeon fraternity. Sometimes some fanciers use that instead of looking in the mirror and seeing the real problem. Are your birds fit and healthy, have they been properly schooled and basket trained, to mention a few. A change is definitely needed but let's make sure the fundamentals are in place first. This is my opinion and hopefully gives food for thought. Let's hear from the other 1800 viewers. AW THE BEST
  15. Well Stevie, if that's meant to be an apology hardly worth it.. AW THE BEST
  16. It saddens me to hear a quote like this from a man of your standing. A more diligent, hard working, helpful official you wouldn't find than David Liddle. When it comes to giving a sh**, he goes above and beyònd his duties.
  17. 100% agree Del. They cannae agree at club level, so what chance do you have. Anyone laughing at others misfortune, are more needing to be pitied than encouraged. Wishing you good returns and results whenever you race. AW THE BEST.
  18. If giving the controllers the flexibility to change race days, due to bad weather forecasts and putting the welfare of the birds 1st, constitutes trying to make a name for Angus & Dundee then you are grossly mistaken. We don't need sensible decisions like that to make a name for ourselves. Check the National results 😉😊😆😉
  19. C'mon Danny gee them a break. We're AW in the same boat min. Or would you rather they cancel??!!!
