it was good result Bill,considering we had to put up with a neighbour releasing his birds before we had timed (he didnt send)

9 members sent 78 to Thirsk (comeback race) libbed 10 am into a West wind. 1st Mr D.Gillan (davy) . 2nd Mr T.Watt (tucker) . 3rd Mr J.McNeil (Jim) . 4th Mr & Mrs Burgess . 5th Mr G.wardaugh (graham) 6th Mr G.Wardaugh " . provisional result due to computer glitch ,hence no velocities. a sticky race for most, winner had 3 from 12 at clocks and 2nd had 12 from 12 .a few didnt time and many an empty perch here

pretty much the same still ,although generally drier ,had the odd shower too

only 132 miles and some yards Tam ??

had 3 from 6 but took over 3 1/2 hours from Thirsk
