if the new number is Greater than the Old one , i would keep shtum .honestly ,if there is a diffrence , i would ask too .

have just had a thought , is the diffrence = relevant to the distance covered ?? and is Earths curvature taken into account because of distance ?? and maybe why theres another figure shown ?? (if thats clear )
