  5. true , i will , and maybe ??
  6. maybe , but i believe him to be totally honest ,and from replies "dont think so" i also know his working hours and would find it really hard to find when he would have the time to get much if any training in to be honest ??
  7. i understand this one straight off , but would like to ask this , we have a long standing member of our club and fed who occasionaly only sends to 1 of the shorter yb races ,then hits our fed open race (over 200 miles) often getting a very good position and sometime winning it ,then a week later does the yb national , again doing very , very well . whats your opinion on this Rooster ??
  8. theres a few at ours , and some stayed last year who didnt attend this year , you told me how much you paid this time , money would be better spent at the "Big Blue" in my opinion (no i am not on commision)
  9. from that post i now understand your first post "better" , and think the latter part is very valid ,will be interested to see others comments too.
  10. we love the "Big Blue" John , absolute comfort , but it is away from the show ,but not a million miles and theres trams , taxis , the car ,or a lift if you ask ?? its only a couple days anyway ??
  11. ouch , is it worth a letter in the B.H.W. in case somebody "honest" found it ??
  12. nice to see the photo , well done Mr & Mrs Thresher
  13. all interesting stuff Rooster , i struggled in our first yb national (won a certificate) but not high on the result . i felt that it would be pointless to try the yb national again to be honest ,mainly because afterwards i understood more about loft location .with the new One loft race too has left me wondering of its worth joining/sending in a National this year, can only imagine how the boys North and West must feel ?? i may be wrong in my view ,i am a National Novice (no not going for a name change) and have a lot to learn , but felt a little dis-heartened .
  14. it was a "smile" Fifer he has a lovely nature ,just wait till he can talk , sure he will "smile" and then ask "any chance of a pair of youngsters"
