five weeks

brought up in different times ,they have no respect for others ,and no thought for there actions.

had a few setbacks ,after floating stock eggs under yearling racers ,with a few not hatching ,chilled ,and a broken egg .oh well , those that have hatched are good and strong ,a few just starting to climb out the nestbowl , from around 16 ,6 to go away to others this weekend .2nd round stock all sitting around 7-10 days now .looking to wean a few end of the week /weekend .

now thats something i have done , a few years back .the best young hens if only 2 or 3 were kept in the yb section and flown out all season .after the stock had finished rearing ,stock hens away for around a week.the young hens were put into the stock section ,once laid were flown out again and trapped into a sputnik on the stock loft avairy .out all day with the youngsters . only light training ,and were sent to the channel races ,and done reasonably well .

i dont ,but did read a great article by Alun Jones (Redstar lofts) flew them well on this system .it was in the B.H.W. towards the end of last year .

it can be a real shock Alan , hope he doesnt suffer too much .

have well and truly celebrated todays win time for bed now

my dear Wife was very annoyed at the performance put up by Scotland today , after enjoying the earlier passionate performance of Wales

and still doing well i hope

so much passion ,loved the game , every minute of it .not many Welsh flags flying in Scotland today , but ours had a jolly good waving here

both pionts are very encouraging
