i gotta take my hat off to you guys cos i dont know how i would cope being hit by peregrines on a regular basis its bad enough having to deal with sparrowhawks hitting my birds but then saying that we,ve got peregrines in brighton which the rspb put boxes up for a few years back > and brighton is only 20 miles south of me so prob wont be long b4 i see a peregrine as theyve been breeding there for a few years now and their young will prob be looking to find their own territories as most of you know they are nesting in london as well which is only 30 miles up the road from me, come to think of it where aint they now? the future looks bleak for us we all need to get our heads together re the bop problem and take some action but what? kev

just got on after trying for ages and wot does P*** the noo mean :-/
-
absolutely no two ways about it
-
thanks for the link strapper as missed it on tv hopefully its not an organised gang that did this and some birds make there way home but the fact that they hit ken hines loft speaks volumes so they probably are planning to use them for breeding and to think that he spent 50 ys moulding his birds just so some scumbag(s) could break into his loft and take them these pigeon thefts and arson attacks are getting all too common nowadays if they ever get caught they need sorting the old school way not putting them before the local magistrates so they can have their wrist slapped your average person on the street doesnt understand the hard work/expense that fanciers put into building a decent team of pigeons all that work so somebody can reap the benefits by just thieving them it makes your blood boil > kev

i had a bird handed to me by a neighbour that was on its last legs i reported it and was told by its owner ( a very well known essex fancier) to feed it watered down banana through a syringe believe me when i say this bird was skin and bone sitting hunched up with its feathers blown and eyes closed and i fully expected it to be dead by the morning but within 2 days it was eating small seeds then corn and went on to make a full recovery since then ive used banana if any bird is that down/flown out and its always worked for me have any other fanciers used bananas or more to the point why do they seem to be so effective in bringing birds around? i know they are easily digestible which obviously helps but maybe they also have ingredients which helps them recover whats your thoughts

yet another attack on a fanciers pigeons > i can only imagine how these fanciers are feeling at this time these scumbags need to be taught a proper lesson and taken behind somewhere and sorted out the old school way and id be first in line > its the only way to deal with it -fight fire with fire and not let the courts deal with em and decide that the poor unfortunate souls only really need a holiday to get their lives back on track give em justice old style > kev

what a lowlife > the poor dog dont look as if it would hurt a fly how could anyone do that to a dog? there has just been a cruelty case in my local paper where some scumbag left his staffy to die of starvation the rspca got into the house but they found the staff was already dead and starting to be eaten by maggots his excuse was that his wife and kid had left him and he couldnt cope but i bet he coped well enough to feed himself > people like this need to be punished old style with a good battering not being sent to see a psychiatrist to try and unravel their mind and find an excuse for what they did they are evil bxstxrds pure and simple >
