bruno the people i refer to have all been elected at some stage in their rule. hitler was elected as were the rest. the method of election may be questionable but they were elected. the implication of your viewpoint is that in the event of elected leaders ignoring common ideals and principles then we have no right to take issue with them as we elected them. effectively what you are proposing is that we should not expect elected officials to act with the common interest of the members in mind. you continually propose that it is not the individuals involved to blame. i would think that leaders with the interest of the membership in mind would not have the shu in the position that it is now. we are now on post 155 on this subject. this would indicate to a reasonable person that something is seriously wrong. finally i would be greatful if you would allow me to think for myself and stop attempting to make me feel inferior or ridicule my posting. i accept debate and indeed appreciate the content and views of others. i do not appreciate attempted bullying and attempted patronising from you or anyone else.

bruno from your postings inferring that the responsibility and example being set by the current regime is the fault of the membership and not the leader and his team. the follow on would be there is no such thing as individual responsibility. once someone is elected to a position their actions are directly attributable to those who elect the individual. this would imply that the actions of people like hitler pol pot franco lennin stalin idi amin and so were attributable to the people they slauughtered as they had been elected by some of these same people.

there is now in excess of 143 posts on this single thread. it appears that nearly 100% of posters agree there is something seriously wrong within the shu. many suggestions have been made as to the what the problem is. many suggestions also as to how to attempt to remedy the problem. as someone who has been hounded and ridiculed for posting information on a good number of the points now raised by others i repeat once again. the running and reputation of the organisation falls wholely on the shoulders of the president and their officials, both paid and unpaid. the continued need for a significant number of unhappy members to post regarding the actions and example being set by the officials is a clear indicator of the seriousness and gravity of the current situation within the shu. it is also necessary to point out this thread has run and run with little or no input from any of the so called walkaways or posters like me who have been attacked for posting and raisng these issues for two or three years now. the problems being discussed are 100% the property of the shu. no one else to blame. no place to hide.

Both are estimates. No list of entrants. No information on the welfare of the birds. No information on the daily regime of the pigeons. No date of when the information was last updated. any organisation is heavily dependant on leadership and example. to say that certain individuals and organiations are only symptoms is like saying that individuals such as hitler or franco or mussolini were only symptoms of the spanish civil war and the second world war. the responsibility for the scottish homing union lies in the hands of the president. this is clear when you see the presdent has the right to allow or disallow motions and can use his power of veto. the wos organisation officials have responsibility for the wos. the example being set in both cases is the resposibility of jb and the wos federation management committee.

i did not know whether to post or not as in the past it has been re juggled into an attack. the fact that there was a meeting highlights the validity of the content of posts relating to the subject which have been on this sight for two years or more. anything certain members have posted has been attacked as lies and mistruth. the outcome of what has now become the norm in shu affairs is that it is impossible to separate the shu as an organisation and those who control the organisation. there in excess of 80 posts on this subject in this thread alone. people should remember that none of the so called walkaways are involved in this current war. the situation is not being given fuel by ill intentioned outsiders. this is all the work of the shu on its own. i wholeheartedly applaud those who are showing the concern that they are and wish them well in their quest.

bruno all you have done here is re post everything i have posted. you again have answered nothing. what are you frightened of? all your years of study and this is what you come up with. why are you so intimidated by my posts? what are you afraid of? are you now trying to hide your bullying tendencies? you posted you now accept that president of the shu may well have been ill advised. now you attempt to portray my post outlining this situation as lies and a rant. come on dont be foolish. stand up for what is right. ill go for a wee while now and let you get on with your bullying. there is nothing to be afraid of in the truth.

i do not know anything about lanark. you said you and 2 members took your pigeons to the transporter of the midland for last saturdays race. i am only referring to an shu rule requirement in taking pigeons to transport for racing. rules is rules. you said you abide by them in an earlier post.

is there not a rule some where that states you need four or five members to acompany birds.

what about last weeks meeting. what about going to kelso. you stated you were only going to appleby.

doos r us thank you for the apology. the number of pigeons sent was never mentioned. the pick up time at dumbarton may well have been 8.15. the people who took the pigeons to the midland transporter did not put them on the transporter until 10.30. i am not questioning your right o act as your members choose. i am questioning the way in which you and your members allowed your selfs to be misused as a vehicle, unconstitutional, to allow the president of the shu to be your delegate to the shu. i am questioning the intention of jb to participate in flying pigeons in the wos club / fed. i am questioning your continual inaccurate postings. i am questioning your lack of fact in your postings. i am questioning your refusal to give a straight answer. i have pointed out five or six different things to you. you respond to one or two and say i am wrong. poor show. then again your choice.

doos r us what was wrong about the post? the number of pigeons sent? the race point? the fact wos turned up with four panniers? 2 with no more than ten pigeons and 2 with around 22 in each. what exactly was wrong?

bruno your post 70. you would have us believe that wos/dumbarton are not causing problems. you then go on to mention four other feds in the same position. surely this only highlights the depth of the problem. you would also have us believe that people have problems with a certain individual. this is not the case. the problem is clearly the way in which the situation has been manipulated to achieve a pre planned outcome. this has lead to making a mockery of the rules and the scottish pigeon fancy in general. like you i believe if this is what the membership wants then so be it. the situation with doos r us is such that he has fired terms such as bullshite at me and others and you somehow feel we should stand back in amazement. the content of a lot of his posts sre false and i intend to continue to rebuff his ravings to show up the real situation. like you say i am operating my freedom of choice to put another side to discussions i feel are not wholely representative of the feeling of pigeon fanciers in my area. if you feel that this in some way threatens you and that you should then revert to aggressive and demeaning language in an attempt to bully or coerce me then i am affraid you are barking up the wrong tree. you have repeatedly blocked postings in a vain attempt to put me off. i am too strong willed to be threatened or influenced by anyone as shallow as yourself. you have no position of strength or power. you appear to be a person who thrives on the idea of being a badge wearer. it would appear from disenchanted fanciers who know you that you would like to be a dictator or jumped authority of some kind. if your actions and comments on this forum are anything to go by i suggest you will have great difficulty in gaining the respect of your peers as it would seem you have no respect for yourself. i trust that you will understand that this post along with all my other posts are my own personal opinions and not that of anyone else. the final question is will you call a halt to the thread or will you delete the bits that hit home. you being a bully would lead me to believe the fact that people highlight your tendancies towards being a control freak combined with your own inability to consider the position of others would only sway you to believe that whatever you do you are right.
