I had a pair did nothing here lightning fast from training 20 minutes in front of birds on training losted one last year first race other went second race , my thoughts were to cross them but i passed them on to a friend but you cant judge a whole loft by a couple of birds
40 dead birds in the harbour seems they may have been dumped , guess if racers there rings be missing however if racers with rings on they may have been hit by a wave but in whatever case doesnt look good on fanciers be there racers or fancy birds , keep us updated
light feed barley / durupative ensure digestion is working and droppings fine , if so give it another day on its own to ensure alls well then return to loft , im pretty much with John Quinn weak birds get ill quicker , but im sure this is a case of over eating rather than ybs
To be honest very little moderation is done now , and as you say threads seem to be more about helping than stroking ones egos its a great site for all to use and long may it continue to grow
were quite a few Gits and Hanseens in Wales both feather legged breeds , others include Jan Arden and Gurnay and Tournier , i have a Gurnay cross still in loft with feathered legs im sure someone on site bought some hanseens x gits on this site from bloke in wales who packed up end of last season i think theres a few feathered legged birds on my photobucket below
