  1. the thing is the insert board part is what there getting back out on if ets pad was underneath base then they couldnt exit , other option is steel rod with bobwires on
  2. I can't believe this sport at times it does sod all to improve / help itself , with new goverment these fossils at hq could be in office forever , we have a manager thats not left the go space on the board im sure hes already eyed up the the bonus on square 2 and uncertain of reading rules before he goes , but im certain he wont be moving with the times nor implimenting any improvements
  3. make a small wooden tray / box and slide ets into it all you need do is up trap a little higher so little draw fits under and base board sits on the tray/ draw
  4. too many small concerns about thats what causes clashing which shouldnt happen with all the technology we have these days a simple site with live updates showing whos liberating ectra wouldnt take much to do but too many fossils walking with heads still working on a good chance lol

  11. I use Uk Pigeon Couriers not the cheapest but thats reflected in there top quality service you certainly get what you pay for , i've found other cheaper couriers to be very poor in the service they've provided no boxes not turning up on time late delivery of birds

    Couriers

can be delivered in liquid nitrogen but expensive and im sure be cheaper to buy from local supermarkets big icecream makers deliver using refigerated / freezer vans
  13. there are much cheaper ways such as mobile phone text or email

    Partnership

perhaps maybe worth while asking local clubs maybe a few old hands wanting a partner so they can stay in the sport or ask council for allotments in your area where you can keep birds either way good luck

  18. not racing ybs as were to advanced in there moult before training will be breeding far later next season , i blame the high winds and hold overs for the advanced moult , so will be removing a few from the team and winter rest and will get plenty of training in to them next year , not had the best of weather or racing conditions this year , hope next years alot better , global warming just another way of getting us all to pay more tax had coldest winter 2 weeks you could call summer rest been a wash out , i think biggest factor has been weather related and bops , i also wonder what efects the solar flares have had on training in last few days ?
  19. R.I.P
  20. seems to me the biggest problem is treating blind with antibiotics , the gunk is probably hexamitiss ( canker ) or conjuntivitus ( excuses spelling ) or sat in a direct draught or respirity without seeing the bird / loft impossible to diagnose correctly , respirtry if you put you ear to back of bird you should be able to hear the lungs inflate deflate if crackly probably respirity but other loft factors maybe still an issue and certainly need to sort the rodent problem out , best way is to go to a vet and get a proper diagnoses , yearling dying could quite be a heart attack
  21. Well Done Susan
  22. get an old stocking slip bird in to and suspend the bird to top of a box with a cup hook ensure it can get to food and water and back end clear for toilet if need be splint leg with a small piece of hosepipe and tape it up
