Bob McDonald has nothing to prove. Bob is an ambassador for our sport and is known all over the world. His birds are still winning all over the country and beyond. What point are you trying to make here?
I had a good blue cock when I was a lad that was bred by Joe. I got it from my good friend Sandy Mutch and it bred a a lot of good doo's. George Smith of Newburgh had Joe's blood and they were terriffic doo's. I think the doo's that John Williamson has been timing from the channel into Aberdeen were through George Smith's. Paul.
Good luck Willie. I didn't make it to Blackpool, going to Belgium in a fortnight instead. Off to Dublin this weekend so I will check in on monday to see how you got on. All the best, Paul.
Beautiful dog. We also have a black cocker and to be honest I don't think I would have any other dog than a cocker. They are fantastic dogs. Regards, Paul.
I don't really have a choice if I want to compete as I work most saturdays. I think ETS is a good thing especially for people in my position but the cost is rising at a scandalous level. It won't stop me using the system and I wouldn't go back to rubbers. Our club has a stock (we are 100% unikon ETS)and you can buy them when you like to spread the cost. I did read somewhere that the company that makes rubber rings (or one of them ) was in financial difficulty due to the drop in demand.
The rings are not for individual members they are a fed order. The secretary can't get hold of anybody and asked me to see what I could do to try to get the rings up to the frozen North for distribution to the clubs in JANUARY. But as usual and maintaining consistency the pigeon police jump on the band-wagon and cause a scene. Makes me wonder do you think Bob Geldof and Bono keep doo's? Food for thought. Merry Christmas to one and all. Paul. p.s I wont be needing my rings until March
Thanks, tried e-mail no joy. Big Alf will pick them up for me and my brother-in-law is going to take them up the road. Hi Willie, where does she stay so I can get them picked up? Cheers, Paul.
