I am sure the 'powers that be' will be experiencing the same weather conditions as you Phil unless JT has started training from Tenerife (you never know) . You could be right though it could be a big conspiracy theory as we have the same argument every year and we have the same people not turning up to the agm to put the 'powers that be' right about starting in the middle of April. My personal preference would be the first Saturday in May. This would be due to other factors other than weather. 🙈🙉🙊

Ets Timing & Location Of Pads / Sensors At Loft
Blue Chequer Pied replied to Big Davie's topic in Notice Board
Have I missed something? Is this ETS a new thing? I believe people used to have to run from the loft to the town square and time into one clock......what happened then if one guy could run faster than everyone else? Ⱐ🃠😠-
You kept that quiet Dave! Congratulations to you both. Give Ange our best. Paul, Rachel, Cameron and Erin 🕊🕊🕊
-
All the best Andy. Hope you had a great day pal 🕊

Gutted for you Bazza. I know exactly how you feel. I have been getting hit by the sparrowhawk regularly. I actually thought it was a peregrine as they were either in the loft or in the sky but it was a sparrowhawk taking them out of the sky. I watched it one one night from way up high circling watching them then it went right into them. It was at them 3 times and I ended up rescuing one from a field about 400 yards from the house over the other side of the A96. Only clue I had was the crows. It is a bloody nightmare. Racing in my mind will be not starting until into May in future as the sparrowhawk is making getting them ready almost impossible.

Bloody heart-breaking!!!

Another one away today. That's three in the last three times out. Peregrine becoming a real issue.

LOL 👓

It's possessed Robert. You will have to Christian it Damien 😈 Seriously don't know. The red chequer in the photo shows it to may be just the angle in relation to the camera and the flash reflecting off of the birds retina.

I cannot get these pictures round the right way from my phone. Maybe somebody can help 😳 Two legends of racing in the far North Esprit de Rennes and CSO real trail blazers.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Wick club for inviting myself and George Duncan up to judge their show last Saturday. It is a place I love going having judged a few times before. As always the hospitality was first class and we had a great weekend. It is awe inspiring to walk into the club rooms and see all the history on the walls. I will attach a couple of photos from the club hut of legendary birds of Callum Miller and Rosie and Bruce later on. The birds in the show were first class and the BIS blue cock of Callum Miller's was in superb condition and a worthy winner. The first prizes were shared out with Sandy Sutherland taking 4, James McAuley 3, Richard Wilson 2, Callum Miller 2, Michael Miller 2 and George Anderson 2. Well done lads and keep up the good work.
