when the birds are entered nobody knows whats going to happen down the line, heavy training losses, bop attacks, what the weather forcast is going to be on main race day etc. You pay your money and take you chance. Congratulations to those who did get in the result today!

As JPH says you can only beat the competition put in front of you. Fred as you have mentioned the NIPA, how many feds does it consist of and how many clubs in each of its feds?

i agree Rose, especialy about only having 1 clock! You can have an ets pad on every trap but only 1 clock which is always in the wrong loft when the first bird comes!

i thought the 2 in 1 thimble RPRA rule had been changed to allow it.

Totaly agree Mick, they need a run at the water first or they'll just follow the coast. If they don't cross the west Wales lofts will be full of irish strays tonight and tomorrow!

weather forecast looks worse as the day goes on tomorrow with heavy rain in wales by mid afternoon so will the birds be liberated as they were last year regardless of the forecast?
