Every club has "stick in the muds", and that will never change. There will also be fanciers still winning with there faithful old windup, surely this is what the sports all about, good birds, good management and pleasure from seeing the birds come!
No, thats not what I said but many that can't fly a kite think ets will make them winners or the winners have another advantage instead of looking in the mirror and seeing why they aren't winning!
there is no need, its just the anti ets brigade trying to think of another way to move there crap birds up the sheet!
If you are a winner you will win whatever the system, if you are always behind you will still be behind!
For those who had the pleasure of knowing Pat Pratt within the pigeon world, mainly through his involvement with fancy pigeons I am sad to report that he lost his battle against cancer yesterday.
Rest in peace old friend and thoughts are with Jenny, Kevin & Robin.
i've heard thats his favourite, if he keeps wearing it on all his loft visits he's hopeing they'll feel sorry for him and give him some more birds! ;D ;D ;D
I wouldn't have them on open hole!
If there are other fanciers on the allotments will they be happy with your birds floating around all day?
If you have pfl then an airie loft will help but why not make your left so you can just drive the birds into a basket to reduce contact?
It will be very difficult to make the loft secure.
Anto, do you have any info on where the birds originate from etc please and pics would be nice.
Vanreets, showracers will fly but most who keep show racers keep them in to prevent damage and loss.
