  1. kiln dried sand also doesn't stain the birds if they were to lay on it when wet after a bath etc.
  2. The reason backgrounds have started to be used is to manipulate the pictures! If the bird has a flight out of place etc with modern editing programmes it can be corrected. Up until a while ago the picture taken was what you got and the skill was in positioning the bird, focus etc.
  3. you don't want anything that distracts you away from the bird!
  4. thanks Oscar, updated
  5. keep training on good days and when in good feather, all experience they gain will help them next year.

    Help Please

If you don't have gloucose, disolve some sugar in hot water and then dilute to tepid before giving the bird. Often fluids are more important than food as they suffer more from dehydration than starvation.

    Help Please

if you have no seed available rice would do but if you can also put some glucose in its water.

    Lib line

lib line was set up to make it easy for members to check libs but it also paid money back to the federations. Most sec's still ring members when they get a lib time but some members get impatient and just keep ringing lib line just incase the sec has forgotten to ring them!
  17. when they carried out regeneration work localy they moved people from there houses, knocked them down, rebuilt them and the first offer on them was made to the original occupents, infact 1 actualy left his loft in the garden while they rebuilt the house and then moved back in!
  18. Our Staffie is fantastic with kids, its some other dogs she doesn't like. Would never trust any dog 100% with kids though. Best to get a puppy from a home where the parent dogs have also been surrounded by kids etc as you are less likely to have problems. If you get a pup from a breeder or somebody's mate from the local estate you don't know what you are getting and could have inbred problems!
