This thread only lets those know who are aware of his antic's! Nowhere on this thread has the sellers name been mentioned as, being a banned mamber, that would break site rules!

Unfortunatly the site concerned make money from him selling birds and it would not be in there interest to prevent him from doing so!

But Fifer, members of this forum buy from the Auction site where birds are for sale but nobody can post the information, so should the members on here not be warned to prevent them being ripped off?

If you've got a 6' wooden panel fence between you and the neighbour then nail these to the top of it and the cats can't sit on or walk along the fence, then put some netting or trellace along the back of the loft so nothing can jump from the fence to your loft roof, job done!

No licence needed here. If you contact somebody like the NCDL etc they usualy chip for abot £15!

When organising club shows i'll walk around the birds before judgeing and if i see any markers i will ask the owner to remove them before judgeing, again it reduces conflict afterwards.

personaly i wouldn't put a bird in a club show with any kind of marker ring etc on as some judges will walk past them incase they get blamed or acused of picking a certain members birds out and easy to find because its marked!

best birds should win, its often the case at club shows that 1 member takes a few cards as the birds will stand out to the judge. When judgeing a show at any level you will only ever please 2 people, the winner and yourself knowing you have put the best bird in your opinion in 1st place!.

Its a hard lesson learned! Always make sure there are 2 doors between stock and the outside world! Hope you get some more back.

Breeding won't be a problem if you give her a low level nest box but she will tell you if and when she is fit to fly again. It depends on the type of damage to wether it will repair itself or not but birds that damage wings never seem to fly as well again.

can not be refused but there must be club members prepared to opporate the system and if you are the only ETS member you may need to supply your club with the club equiptment required. If there are no members prepared to opporate it then you will be unable to use ETS and nobody can force the club to accept it and opporate it!
