  7. Gail is unable to login at the moment and has asked me to post the following on her behalf:- Gentlemen, interesting to read your comments and I suppose we will never agree as to what is the best performance/s for the relevant trophies. Thankfully we have an outside independent to judge the performances for these trophies. He made his decision on what he believed was the best performance for each of the trophies. Agreed, there have been some outstanding performances in all of races flown under WHU Rules this year, and unfortunately not all can win. It may be interesting to know that in the majority of cases, the Queens Cup & T G Buffett trophies have been won by performances from races flown at distances of 400/500 & 600 miles. With regards to performances of JO Davies & Taffy Bowen, I have not listed these yet and will do so as soon as possible.
  8. take a basket of your birds and let go at there old home, they may join them and follow them home!
  9. Nice looking birds but wouldn't expect anything less from Brian & Ant!
  10. well done.
  11. Go one step further, limited clubs, north and south, limited feds, one in each area and one combine/national for north and south! Reduce costs and better racing for all!
  12. not realy one to dump on Gail, she only works there/holds the place together and the result isn't her decision!
  13. like you Tom I may also be dull but as the claim is made by the member then if the member is a paid up member of the WHPU then surely it doesn't matter who the race is flown with. Do you think a member of the WHPU winning Bacelona international shouldn't be entitled to make a claim?
  14. I'm sure there will be a local shed builder who would be quite happy to build a loft to your spec but also there have been a lot of fanciers packing up and i'm sure if you ask around there are some empty lofts stood around on an allotment somewhere you could pick up at the right price.
  15. its painfull! Time to bog off for the night and see if its any better tomorrow!
  16. lot of dodgy charactors in Dagenham!
  17. most of the names mentioned are on the north although Jimmy has also been doing well on the south!
  18. It was in Epping when I first met him but that was 94/95!
  19. With all region awards, there are many top performances put up by fanciers who don't make a claim for an award. Should an individual have to make a claim or should the birds be submitted by clubs, fed's etc?
  20. I think he was there when he came to my place first.
  21. the list is endless but I think that is a lot to do with the area they fly into!
  22. where was Davey before he moved? Was it Epping?
  23. Maybe it wasn't but def in Essex!
  24. Davey's best performances were flying from Laindon area! Essex!
  25. he's never far away! Also Vic Shaw!
