concrete lofts are harder to get the ventilation right but easier to insulate for temp control if you so wish although can be very cold if unheated!

if they are still moulting don't panic but you could increase daylight by an hour just to stop the moult halting.

it won't effect the old birds but will encourage the yb's to continue moulting unless they have already stopped.

extend the light and give warm baths.

I think if anybody were looking to purchase stock that old then they need to know they are still fertile and not but from a stud who may just be trying to get some of there money back!

Reason I said most, is i've never flown in a club that charges for setting but I do know some do!

most club clock setters do it for the benefit of the club and members not for financial gain! Marking stations for the Nationals are normaly the only ones who charge.

there is another way to look at this, forget the arguement about which clock is more acurate, we know the answer to that one! If a young lad has been keeping a few birds in his garden etc for a couple of years, he may be at school and has caought the pigeon bug and wants to try and racce a few. He finds his local clubs, gets the information he needs. One club say's you'll need ETS to fly with us the other club say's we use a mixture of clocks, i've even got this old toulet you can have to get you started until you can afford something better! Where do you think he's going to go? If both clubs had the same attitude then where would he go? Back to his garden to just enjoy his birds and become another member that never was or lost!

i can't see any reason to ban any clock! There are clubs around that still have a lot of toulets, if thats what members want then why stop them!

it was promoted on here but I can't remember seeing any reports after the event as to its success!
