John Bell was BIS, we only managed 1 1st, 1 2nd, 2 3rds and 2 4th with a few minnor cards.

1st club show was last week but we wern't back in time so should have some out tomorrow, 2nd MSRS last week and we has BIS winning 2 of the 4 classes.

It beets me! With fanciers giving up due to BOP's, cost of training etc I can't understand why more don't start keeping show racers!

The BSRF does very little for the Show Scene. If it were to organise its classic shows again would society's support it, simple answer is no! Northern members want the show further north, southern members want it further south, for a few years we held it at Shipston on Stour, about as near central as you could get and the support was very poor.

don't think it would work, there arn't enough weekends during the winter to fit all the shows in! A lot of the established shows have regular dates but it doesn't stop others changeing there dates!. The National youngbird show at Nottingham has been on the same weekend for years, the Dome have moved to the same date! The southern region show is always last sat in Nov, Telford have moved to the same date! etc etc

yes Paul just about! None of the show society's are even bothered about supporting the BSRF's own show though! Sad realy.

In all the years i've been showing and associated with show society's they have never agreed dates and don't think they ever will!

did they not do a complete review of the rules a couple of years ago at great expense including legal fees and then as soon as they were finalised council started changeing them!

If the whole club is joining the RPRA you won't need forms signed that only applies to individual members.

I understand what you are saying but also the RPRA along with unions in other country's won't have banned them without good reason. Is it actualy a new rule or as it says a reminder of an existing rule in which case anybody who has been racing belg 09 birds has been breaking the rules?

its not only RPRA that have banned them other countries have done the same.

fanciers in belgium will prob put preasure on there union to change the rings as export for them is big business!
