what i done for years is to wean your youngbirds into a basket/training crate, they will learn to feed and drink in there before putting them into the loft and they will never forget and never be frieghtened of the basket.

you know what happens when you've got favourites!

It depends on the circumstances, my wife has had to look into this before and it appears if you go sick after having been given your notice then you are entitled to full pay but doesn't think they can make you redundent while you are signed off sick. Best way to check is ring ACAS and give them the details. Phil

I know Gail has mentioned this briefly in the Aberdare thread but members probably don't realise that Gail J not only works tirelesley for the WHPU but whilst manning the stand twice a year always has a collection box in exchange for welsh cakes! The money raised is always for a charity and this shows donations of £125 will go to STEPS of which Damian, Grasshoper lofts has mentioned previously due to his daughters condition. Well done Gail for all your hard work and money raised to a very worthwhile cause, give yourself a big pat on the back! Phil

Anybody going to take birds to Cheltenham from South Wales next week? A member of my club and his son both have birds ready to go after tuesday from Ammanford. Phil

according to "View from the Reddings" stock of both sizes was coming to the UK on 25th March! I e-mailed a couple of suppliers yesterday and they say they are out of stock and no 80's due til mid April! Can't beleive the RPRA to give out wrong info! ;D ;D ;D
