  1. nice to see ,, well done to all concerned
  2. is it racing pigeons you keep mamun?? or fancy pigeons [non racers] pulling the flights out wouldnt be good for the bird, mamun, it could upset the natural moult , as in your country they could be moulting now, even cutting their flights could damage their wings, when they try to fly ,,, far better to keep them in an aviary for a while where they can see their surroundings, they will soon learn where they belong, and should stay with you easier,, good luck
  3. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  4. good interesting reading bakes i have often wondered if a race from sweden [just under 380 miles of water ] into scotland could be possible,, birds dont like flying over water, and would avoid it if poss, but with the right weather conditions [east wind] i beleive this could be possible,,, 9 half hours at 40 p p h,??,[faster if wind in the east] a very lot to ask!!! but as sweden is direct east of edinburgh, glasgow direct west of edin, approx 40 miles ovefly,,it would be roughly the same distance to say aberdeen and eyemouth,,, maybe a little crazy ;D,, but could it be done,??? i often wonder, maybe a hundred miles start inland , making a 480 mile race,, would they be able to do this?? could this be poss???, it would be a fairer race, to all scotland,,,,, but really asking a lot for a pigeon ,, maybe just fill many oil rigs but who knows
