1.Whole Glasgow fed tries to join Lanarkshire fed and fly as the North section in that fed.Lanarkshire are not willing to travel to Alexandria etc to collect birds.It would cost too much money. Glasgow denied membership. 2.After discussions with Glasgow officials Kirkintilloch club are encouraged to try and join Lanarkshire fed.We leave the Glasgow fed amicably with no animosity,no debt and no ill feeling.An application goes into Lanarkshire for their AGM.( NOT MID SEASON ). This application fails and Kirkintilloch are told to try again the following year.The same thing happens for 3 years, denied membership every year and Kirkintilloch club decide to try and get membership to the Scottish Midland fed.Application accepted. 3.After 4 years of flying down the west route the Kirkintilloch members decide that the losses were unbearable and asked Glasgow if they could convoy their ybs down the east route this year.The Kirkintilloch members felt it would be best to put an application into Glasgow to join as full members.We again were encouraged to do so and the rest is history,APPLICATION DENIED AGAIN!!!!We are still members of the Scottish Midland Fed and we hope they decide to fly down the east this year for the benefit of our ybs. THESE ARE THE FACTS.NO BULLSHIT WHATSOEVER
