Didnae know ye had yer AGM today ? thought it was for race programme only. The SNFC are running races as they always have, if any fed want a hurl then the SNFC are good enough to oblige. The SNFC run the race, it is their race, they pay for everything. If anybody thinks that Lanarkshire or any other fed for that matter , can control a SNFC race, then they are sadly mistaken. Think about it, whos doing who the favour???

Who are the pilgrims and the hanger ons you keep going on about Danny ? Any fed ( yes, including the Lanarkshire fed ) cannot knock back money as the pigeon game is on its *expletive removed*. Natural wastage and folk chucking it is taking about 50 members from your fed every year. If it continues, you only have about 10 years left. All the small feds will amalgamate and convoy together and Lanarkshire will be left on its todd. Think to the future Danny, before its too late.

If you treat for canker then the cocci count automatically goes down as well. Cocci levels go up when another disease is present in a pigeon, when this disease is eradicated then the cocci levels go down. I have never wormed or coccied my racing pigeons in over 15 years.

Any business minded person must accept that joint convoying is inevitable..

Theres your answer, dipped just b4 a show and won. Surely chloracarb isnt detramental to the oils in a pigeons feathering ? Ive handled the bird Clockman is talking about at the show he is talking about, and it was a real cracker.

Granted, if a yb or ob isnt well and you want to give them water with antibiotics etc in it, then syringing is the only way to do this but they will blow most of it out within 10 minutes of you doing it. At least they will have a little medication left in them.

You cant syringe them when off nest as it comes right through them or they spew it out

Ive tried it but the birds just blow it straight back out ( unless they are on nest ).It is pointless doing ybs this way, IMO.The other downside is that they wont drink later in the basket when the others are, hence the other pigeons being more hydrated than yours come the liberation. :-/
