Whats the reasons Frank ?? All made up p/sh , and you know that!!! Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have never done anything detremental to the pigeon sport and I have always done my best to keep the sport moving forward.Ive been involved with the running of the sport all my life from working the ringer at 6 years of age right up to being on the SNFC committee 3 times. Ive donated £1000s to charities and in fact, was the first to get a lottery grant ,so basically all grants that have been recieved in Scotland ,are partly down to me. Incidentally, did Glasgow not get grants for there transporters ???

Half the Scottish team is made up of Glasgow players. Ill tell you, these guys are alot fitter now than when I played for Glasgow. Good luck to them

In Scotland the Union secretary and the National secretary get rises although the membership is declining. In effect, they are getting more money for less work.I think they should be paid pro rata as to how many members they have. This would make them try to encourage more members into the sport instead of just sitting back and getting paid even more.

Frank, you are right, there are two sides to every story and I am still wondering at what I am getting persecuted for ?? Can you tell me ? I am member of SHU club ( Bonnybridge, which is 14 miles east of me ) but I am not in the local SHU clubs radius., that's why I applied to Chryston, Glasgow fed.(RPRA ). Dont anyone ever condone knocking back new members, believe me, you wouldnt like to be treated the way I and others have been in recent years. A whispering campaign has stopped us from being able to join local clubs. A bloody disgrace what the pigeon sport is coming to. Success is grudged and people blame other things for their own inadequacies. > And yes Stuart, there was a local SHU club that did the dirty on the full Kirkintilloch club, funnily enough, the very same club name.

Very honest of you Gareth to think you dont fit all the criteria to do the SNFC P.R.0 job. This post is a very important and prestigious position to hold within the SNFC and CAN ONLY BE FILLED BY SOMEONE THAT HAS THE RIGHT CREDENTIALS Joe Murphy did a brilliant job covering SNFC news over the years and will be very hard to replace. I hope the SNFC do their homework and get the right person for the job ps I think John Houstan could do the job but he is President and may have enough on his plate :-/ I dont think anyone else on the committee fits the bill.

I reckon we should start an " ADOPT AN EAGLE OWL " campaign. Only £20 a head for someone to breed and look after eagle owls for us. They are beautiful birds and I for one would like to part own one
