Very true Alan, way back then, they were testing their pigeons . Bring back that mentality and we would have a better sport. Whats up nowadays is more people are into sprint and middle distance races. When I started in pigeons, 1973, everybody went to the Gold Cup race from France. That was everybody's ultimate goal , to score in this race. Now, you have folk bragging about getting a ticket at 300 mls :-/ If their was a 1000 mile race on the SNFC calendar , then we would be back to being undoubtedly the best organisation in Britain

Me too, I breed them every year and its usually off the same line of pigeons.

I think enough is enough with these kind of threads .The SNFC is without doubt one of the premier clubs in the British Isles and any speculation should be policed by moderators. Some serious allegations etc on an Open Forum can lead to all sorts of legal implications. I would say to you all, do not speculate, just go to the AGM and if you have questions about Ypres, then ask them there. The events surrounding Ypres ( if any ) will be clarified, im sure.

Thats right m8, but who dominates section F nowadays ? Welsh and Holland, 11th Open Falaise last year in westerly wind. Outstanding performance,( for me it was best in race ) keep trying and it will happen.

This one was 7th west section yb National £176, beaten into trap by loft mate, so far so good Stuart ps to Jimmy White, i have owned a pigeon with a red wing and a ch wing.

One of the hens I timed in YB National has just completed moult. Nothing unusual there, but she scored in yb National as a blue wf and now she is only a blue. No wf after moult, has anybody had this before? :-/

My daughter got me this dvd for my Xmas. What a total waste of money. This dvd was made up mostly of bits from other dvds. Jim Jenner and all those who were involved should be ashamed of themselves. :B :B There is too much of this crap coming on the market, ripping the fancier off , mainly at Xmas. >

Wrong Danny, Ware was withdrawn as a proposed racepoint after research. I dont know why it is still included in proposals by committee. It will all be changed at AGM anyway.
