Davy Fleming , on this site, was doing some hawk trials for the S.H.U and he caught a sparrowhawk.He relocated it down in Ayrshire and put a tracker on it. It returned home via the Solway area, it covered maybe around 100 miles to return home. Maybe Davy could tell us the full story?

Tam had smashing year but I think he won about 17 diplomas, which is fantastic Big George & Gareth about the same

Got 8 instead of 7, they gave me 2 Diplomas for Andrezel instead of one. Only 30 diplomas should be awarded here and my 2nd pigeon got one as well, he was 76th. This is making a mockery of this race. :-/

Well Im in the other 40% Gareth. Sometimes it is very hard to tell and you can only summise some people are dabbling with show pigeons, in these cases you can get caught out but on the whole, a decent pigeon man will know the difference.

It is all down to the judges, I think it is their responsibility to weed out these half show birds. Many judges lose credibility if they get caught out with these pigeons JMO

Your spot on m8, always been too many dipped birds in racing classes. You need the right judge to sort them out although, sometimes the quality of racer might be that bad that you have no choice to give a half n half a ticket. ( this should be a minor card )

Nobody questioned how fantastic a result this was but there are plenty of birds have put up unbelievable performances in recent years and I wouldnt say that one was better than the other. Everyone is entitled to their opinion I suppose

I think you all have been very disrespectful to your other west section SNRPC National winners, namely Danny Mitchell, Wanstead Flats and Wilson & Jack, Messac. Three west section National winners in two years, every one deserving equal plaudits. Karens Girl put up a great performance undoubtedly but so did these other two birds. I also think to name a bird of the decade with one performance is a bit ridiculous. Recently,what about Jocky Kings blue hen , the Dewar trophy winner and his ch hen Mary, a multiple channel prize winner.There are countless other brilliant pigeons, again , you have disrespected these wonderful birds with your statement.

I bloody hate that, internet then auction room. *expletive removed* greedy b,,,,,,, if you ask me. No wonder the pigeon game is in the state it is with all these con men in it >
