I agree, its madness nowadays , with such a small convoy coming up the road on a Friday when nobody else is racing and very little pigeons in the sky ( BOP WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY ) however, its my club/fed and I will support it by sending a few.
My fed, Almond valley are flying from Maidstone on Friday. Whats your thoughts on having this race on this day, with the SNFC Eastbourne ( 20 miles away ) the following day.
In my opinion, they are worth £150 each. Winning the national in the south east corner of the country isnt just as hard, although, ye cant help your post code.
Percy is about every day now Rab, I tossed 2 experienced birds at Bonnybridge club on Monday night at 19.25 pm. Maybe 12-15 miles to loft and got my first one at 11.15 am the following day, ( this hen has won west section in snfc ) my 2nd doo came the next day at 08.55 am ( she timed at Newbury as yearling 09 )totally flown out. Both of the birds are recovering and look as if they ve flown 600 miles????? Shows you the problems BOP can cause
Got one from Bovingdon reported in Northern Ireland today, broken leg and flown out.The fella contacted me and is a credit to our sport as he is nursing it back to health before we decide on how to get it back to me. Thats two ive had reported injured in Northern Ireland in the last fortnight.Strange where they get to, especially flying into westerly winds
Brilliant performance, very well done.Lets hope that everyone in Ayrshire start sending their doos again to the SNFC races because this result shows the calibre of pigeon and pigeon man they have.
You may have the start of YBS m8.If the ybs arent responding to you then its guaranteed you have a touch of it ( providing they arent over fed ) ps. Dont chase them from house roof if there are many roofs about you as they will just land on the one furthest away and then you have bother
