Had disaster today, ybs out sitting on roof ( dont ask ) 3 birds came from Consett at 11.44. Cant shift them and not in to 11.59, with different birds. Lost at least 15 minutes flying 117 miles and was gutted to hear that these 3 birds would have been first 3 in fed. Just looking for a rope now Returns 30/36

Almond Valley up at 9.00 am , n/ne wind

31/36 from Otterburn, well spread out. 1 hour 57 minutes for 92 miles

30/36 plus one from last week Almond valley fed, some disaster stories including 5/34

Heard it was a piggin disaster as predicted.Lots of birds going for opening bid of £30. I brought this up last year at a SNFC meeting about how the spring sale would be embarrassing to the doners as well as the SNFC. Looks like they should have listened to me

Gave 100s of birds to sales in past and this includes many to clubs and feds that wont *expletive removed* let me in. Have decided to only support charity sales now

Totally agree Tam, too many sales now and top pigeon people getting embarrassed at what their birds make. This was very evident at the SNFC spring sale last year where many top pigeons hardly got a bid. The SNFC should have one sale a year only .
