I think Chris,an inland national was put in place of Sartilly1 to encourage people to send more to the Gold Cup as Sartilly was taking birdage away from it.Newbury or equivalent, was meant to be a preparatory race for pigeons going to the Gold Cup but I feel we have lost the place a wee bit. Bring back the tradition of the SNFC LONG DISTANCE RACES asap.

I cant understand cancelling such a short race as all you need is a two hour window to get birds home. The transporter should be sitting down there waiting for an opportunity early every weekend unless definite adverse weather forecast.

I agree Jade, the committee can comprise of a bunch of mates all voting for each other. The election process is very amateurish and should be addressed asap. I think, only the very best from each section should be appointed the great honour of being a SNFC Committee member. There are folk going on the committee now that dont know the tradition or history of the SNFC. Jamie is ideal for the SNFC Committee because he knows the tradition of the club and the way it should be moving forward. He has been brought up surrounded with top SNFC fliers and knows what is expected from the SNFC.

Aye Bob, I dont mind racing any route but BOP really is terrible down that route at moment. It would be fine if everybody down there could sort this route, if you know what I mean.

I can understand Chris wanting these race points as the Solway have a penalty kick every race then but saying that, they were still 2nd Open in Liege so imo the further east we go, the fairer for all ( and thats been proven )

We are losing birdage for the channel races because there are too many of them. Total nonsense having two national clubs in Scotland and the birdage proves that.Lets stop the nonsense and get back to the good auld days
