  8. Looking grim, no birds reported in Scotland yet
  9. I reckon the Knaresborough doo is doing approx 1185 ypm, to equal that in Elphinstone you would need to be in at 9.39 pm. As I said, this is probably not the first pigeon so fingers crossed Jamie
  10. Knaresborough is middle of country so I think there may be birds ahead of this one flying up the coast.( going with the westerly winds ) I think there is a big possibility of a doo in Edinburgh tonight
  11. Very nice name m8, all the best with her
  12. Thats a smashing hen youve got John.Have you named it yet? 12TH SEC 70TH OPEN BOVINGDON, 1ST SEC 19TH OPEN YPRES.A 2yr old latebred, what a cracker for next year or is she stopped for stock ?Remember the SHU Awards
  13. My birds not had a training toss for this one, flying well round loft so dont see the point. They have all had 400 miles so,if you think about it, they know the way home so Im trying to keep them as fresh as possible
  14. Jamie, ye have a great chance through there today in that wind. Newmains Open race struggling to get them from Kelso in the wind, never mind BOURGES. Oh to have a wee small holding on the east coast, happy days
  15. I think the birds into Scotland will have it very tough, straight west gusts here and right down to Midlands.Think we get a bit hyper when we here a touch of south in it, I agree with Gareth, tomorrow morning for the winner up here. Any doo in race time will earn its perch.
  16. Aye Andy, in the Solway
  17. Aye, she went on to win 2 x 2nd section and 3rd section SNFC. She is the g,dam of my Gold cup section winner, so not only motivation, a good classy doo as well
  18. I had a hen do the same with me Frank, I couldnt get her off nest. Tried to flag her and she just flew over my head. She was timed at 6.10pm in a north wind from Sartilly to be 7th open SNFC;) Heres hoping ye get the same luck m8
