Just heard Jim Meikle timed another from Bourges after 5pm tonight and Billy Graham got one about 4pm.Well done you two lads, sharing the first 3 prizes in section E

I reckon the Knaresborough doo is doing approx 1185 ypm, to equal that in Elphinstone you would need to be in at 9.39 pm. As I said, this is probably not the first pigeon so fingers crossed Jamie

Knaresborough is middle of country so I think there may be birds ahead of this one flying up the coast.( going with the westerly winds ) I think there is a big possibility of a doo in Edinburgh tonight

My birds not had a training toss for this one, flying well round loft so dont see the point. They have all had 400 miles so,if you think about it, they know the way home so Im trying to keep them as fresh as possible

I think the birds into Scotland will have it very tough, straight west gusts here and right down to Midlands.Think we get a bit hyper when we here a touch of south in it, I agree with Gareth, tomorrow morning for the winner up here. Any doo in race time will earn its perch.
