-
Your right Bob, it has to be sorted , now.Mind ye, I think every second hoose round here has a cat or two. Its a bast... when it happens m8, isnt it. Cheers
-
I know the script regards feeding but this isnt the reason for what happened today. Im not a novice and ive won more 1st prizes with ybs than anybody in my area so , the feeding thing isnt the issue. Something spooking the birds as they are shying from loft .
-
Just trained my ybs and they passed me just about a mile from home, as I drove in I noticed they weren't there. They had landed on a tenement building 3 streets away. I had to drive round and chase them up, what can I do to stop them doing this again I get terrible bother with trapping, I think its the cats

Have had a steady year without really brilliant performances Won Forth/ Clyde OB averages flying about 16 miles west of most fanciers. Ive scored in all SNFC races except Bourges( 8 Diplomas with 5 across water up to now) so quite satisfied with that. My returns this year have been very good at fed level and mostly ok at National. We ll see how the ybs go

Must be Jammy Donaldson or John McNeil, but as Hoody says, it all depends on size of section so its unfair to compare.
-
Strange one for you Gareth, not often has that happened to the Rankin loft, but hats off tae ye for posting as this will give people a truer reflection to the race. Ye will bounce back, thats guaranteed
-

Well done wee Billy and Alfie. What a pigeon Alfie is, he won 1st section Gold cup last year. Pure Brilliant
-
Cracking mealy hen " HODDAM DYNAMO " I think? This hen scored well up this year in Reims and was also 3rd Open Falaise in 2008. Jimmy is a top doo man and it was a privilege to sit with him and talk pigeons.
-
Was in the Midland fed with John, hes a top pigeon man and one of the most underestimated fliers in the west section. His results have been brilliant for the last decade.Good luck to John and his pigeon. ps Jock and Wullie Strangs good ch hen won a Gold Award in Bourges
-
Bump, any more ideas folks
-
One million percent correct Jim
-
For things to get better we have to do what we can to protect our pigeons Act now, or suffer even more grief next year, GUARANTEED. I dare say there are elements and hazzards for our pigeons that we cant do anything about BUT lets all do what we can to help our cause.

I agree Chris, a disaster with no apparent reason. In the Scottish convoy there must have been some of the most experienced birds in Britain as most birds sent had flown the pond previously and had been round the block a few times. I personally had 5 away, 4 of these had been across water 9 times between them ( not a feather ) wheres the rope
