The yb sickness starts at the same time every year for everyone, ill have it in next week, guaranteed. Obs being sick while travelling is nothing to worry about BUT if they were sick in the loft then you should pay attention to them.Usually thrush ( candidia ) is the cause and this occurs after a treatment of antibiotics or if you feed too much sweet stuff.

There should be a convenor at any pigeon club dealing with ill/injured pigeons or pigeons he considers not fit to race.I was the Kirkintilloch convenor before being secretary and I threw out a good few pigeons over the years.( not one person questioned my decision) It was the same at National level, I was the SNFC west section convenor and have refused pigeons from going to the race on several occasions, again with no complaint.
