Think of years ago, strays were an embarrassment to you if your name was shouted out at the club hut, now fanciers are dying to see if they ve got one, expletive remove. The sport has become weaker imho.

Do you want strays?

I think ye all have got me wrong.I help as many as anybody, in fact ive been out of pocket many times helping guys get their birds back BUT, what im saying is, IMO , I have no time for strays and not many make the grade in later life. OHHH , I hear, the exceptions coming up and I could tell you the same stories, but in all honesty, 99% are crap, simple as that. I think we are breeding a weaker type of bird if pigeons are persistently entering someone elses loft. Then again, it sometimes comes down to management.

Got all 3 commodities to be very successful in the SNFC, good fancier, good doos and good location. Well done Jock on a brilliant year.

That's not a bad thing, strays are a pain in the azz and nobody should really want them.
