Ive tried this o.l.r and its a complete lottery imo. Its not a good gamble to me statisticly.The birds are very well looked after and are always in cracking nick BUT they don't get a chance to prove themselves imo. I said before I think they should have training tosses from only 100, 400 and 800 yards out into the sea to get the birds used to being libbed from a boat.Im positive this would help them get at least 50-60% ( instead of 10% )of their entry to the final race, which is exactly what everyone wants. This is not the hardest o.l.r as some say, it is a total game of chance which is a pity because the set up is superb. Anyway, as they say in the Dragons Den, for that reason Im out, but I wish all the British birds ( especially Scottish ) all the very best of luck.
