  9. So what you looking for Ian, someone to sit on the fence and talk b.s to pacify people, is that reasonable and sensible? or just bolloc ks
  10. Aye George, yer partly right. It is the best club in Scotland ( once Britain ) but now we cant get the tradition back that was once admired by all. As I said before, this club should go back to basics and get the very best NATIONAL men possible to run it.

    Hangovers

    No hangover, still drinking lol
  12. I miss the Lothian and the Fauldhouse shows but im glad the SHU show is very good and has replaced one of these.
  13. I wont know how to vote until I see the whole facts, for and against. Happy New Year to everybody :emoticon-0123-party:
  14. I agree with ye Jade, every diploma is worth its weight in gold imo. I would except the last diploma in every national as they are very hard to come by. I once spoke to a top nat fancier in South Lanarkshire who was disappointed not getting in the top 12 from the west section. I was disgusted with his attitude as I found it very hard to get in the result and was delighted getting a minor prize, needless to say it came back on him and he couldn't buy a national diploma for many years after this. Cherish any diploma you get as I said before, its a tough sport with many ups and downs. The Diplomas undoubtedly are of poor quality this year but this does not take anything away from the pigeons performance.Good luck to all for 2014
  15. That's the way it was done before the last lot, which included Gibbo, some of the committee decided to make it only 2 or 3 interviewing. By the way, I was strongly against this but certain members wanted Gibbo to represent the committee and interview the candidates. Nuff said
  16. *expletive removed* great idea Bob
  17. sub committee???? have they not learnt from the last time that it has to be a whole committee interviewing so as to stop favouritism .
  18. Naw Charlie, not me at the moment anyway m8.
  19. Funny how no one has mentioned about whos going to be the new secretary? Hope its not another cloak n dagger situation and weve missed something lol. Ok whos in for the job and whats our thoughts?
  20. Draw a line direct north from Portsmouth, where in Scotland do you hit, you guessed it EYEMOUTH. The dogleg in Scotland creates a farce for fairness when flying the distance races. Direct south of EDINBURGH( east of Scotland ) is LIVERPOOL ( west of England ) A complete joke imo.
  21. Amongst my 10 diplomas ive 2 times 1st west region diplomas and all are only fit for toilet paper, amateurs
  22. Atb lads, have a good yin. :emoticon-0167-beer:
  23. Meeting in Edinburgh this year, wonder why ? I also see the sec. wages are down £1600 from last year, wonder if its because he resigned early or is it because he never made up the diplomas correctly?
  24. Totally agree Mick but its all our own fault, we accepted another secretary that doesn't know the tradition of the SNFC and what it stands for. The best secretaries in the past have had an affinity with the SNFC and indeed were good nat.fanciers in their own right or at least had strong family connections to the SNFC.I cant blame Andy Garven for anything, he has done the job asked of him. Now he has retired its up to the members to get the professionalism back to the once biggest, most prestigious club in Britain, so get off yer azz and lets all attend the agm AND GET IT SORTED.
