  1. For me in sprint racing it's all about systems and position and wind direction on the day. Flying in a Fed like mine where the majority are inland fanciers (to the coast), flying for big money every week the competition is as hot as you'll get anywhere in the country, I've found that some breeds of sprint pigeons can't hack a head wind or a lack of sun, or a bit of rain. However I've tried a lot of them over the years and for me the Van Reets tick all the boxes, weather/wind conditions.
  2. COLDSTREAM, OTTERBURN, WAKEFIELD are 3 lib sites where there is a peregrine presence.

  21. Suggest to do away with the first inland national, the federations can run their own race at the beginning of June, with joint convoying, financially viable. At present the Feds lose money due to this race being in the programme. First SNFC race Eastbourne, then the Kings Cup, then Ypres all on their same dates incorporating a yearling National, then Clermont 2 weeks after . If the FEW members who want a 650 mile race then it should be self financed as 240 birds is a joke to call a NATIONAL.
  22. Steven Only a maw could love that face
  23. John, I'm flattered but I'm only learning this national game. I still really like the inland racing, ye dinnae drink so much beer waiting!!! ;)

  25. Agree Chris, one of the all time greats in the SNFC...
