    Hard Times

Sign of the times brought on by the past government with their policies of GIVE,GIVE,GIVE. Its now time to pay it back!!!
  10. You been on the Bucky Joe???
  11. 41/43 from Wetherby 157 miles in 1 1/2 hours. Midweek nomination race from Peterborough this week. Got 5 going 262 miles.
  12. Tossed from Otterburn today 66 miles, libbed 0750. Timed 26/45 together at 0926, 44/45 home within the hour and a late one at 1205.
  13. No disagreeing John but 60 mile races following the tail in front and then stopping them for the year isnae the answer either, cos there's nobody doing that in the Pentland Fed thats beating anyone whose racing them right out as yearlings.
  14. Got too agree here Derek. They're for racing, no looking at how much crap you've got for next year, first head wind just like Marlborough this year and all the yearlings are lost, everyone blaming convoyers race controllers Cornflake Index and any other excuse, get them away, tried and tested and out breed the weaklings just like we all did 30 years ago. Although I will concede we have more obstacles ie: Peregrines..
  15. Yes, I collected the bird from Jim last night...I've left better in the loft.....Is this the problem? Too many birds in poor condition, possibly holding others back. Big Da still talking P***!!
  16. 42/68 from Thirsk. Pentland Fed, 1380 vel. First 5 in club drop together then a few minutes later another 4, half home at clocks when some didn't even time in. Where the *expletive removed* do they get to.......
  17. Pentland Fed 3000b last week
  18. Gareth, If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got, and that is a lot of losses in about the Wear & Tyne Valley, so we are trying to get the birds to have a run at them. It may work, may not, Saturday will tell.
  19. Update:68 home from 75. Got 48 on the drop after 1 h 46m bang on line. A few first timers to come but I'm sure they'll work in..
  20. Pentland Fed racing seems to have been good for 3 weeks with very little losses, although they've only had 3 Ridsdales, 76 miles to me. This week we're at Thirsk 140 miles, so things could change. Mine on their way to Otterburn at the moment (66 miles) so fingers crossed for a good toss......
  21. SU11DF 1502
  22. 61/63 by 10:30 from a 07:30 Lib from Ridsdale good race and result with winners doing 1500s.
  23. Sighthill H.S sent 327 birds to Ridsdale (3) 76 miles.
  24. Greetings Michael.
